    Position Summary

    The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner, by making emotioanl connections with all guests.

    Responsibilities

    In this position, you will have a direct impact on the overall experience of our hotel guests and be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction, throughout the arrival and departure experience.

     

    Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Be aware of all rates, packages, special promotions and closed out/restricted dates as listed.
    • Accuracy and accountability of payment verification, processing of deposits, check cashing and exchange of currency.
    • Assisting guests with safety deposit boxes and posting miscellaneous charges. 
    • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment and hours of operation in a timely manner.
    • Complete a bucket check, room rate verification report, and housekeeping report
    • Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.

    Qualifications

    This is the ideal position for someone who has a passion for guest service, values problem resolution, and enjoys working in a fast paced, team oriented environment. 

     

    Other Job Requirements include, but are not limited to:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
    • Ability to provide excellent guest service and maintain a professional appearance.
    • Ability to use and operate a computer; knowledge of OPERA PMS is strongly preferred
    • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and paying special attention to detail
    • The ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs
    • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
    • Previous customer/guest service experience required; hotel experience is strongly preferred
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
