    An opportunity to join our friendly team in a new jewel of a property just a few miles down the river in Charleston's historic capital city. We are looking for an energetic, loyal person that enjoys cleaning to help to bring a great experience to our guests staying with us at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. Managed by Chesapeake Hospitality, which is an award-winning hotel management company with a rich history and an established track record of successful operations for full-service and select-service hotels and an experienced management team that has operated virtually all of the leading hotel brands.

    Position Summary

    The purpose of this role is to integrate with fellow housekeeping team members and help them to be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests helping to give them the best stay possible at our property. This role will be a full-time position working a MIDSHIFT from 11:30am- 7:30 p.m. shift.


    • Clean guest rooms as assigned by supervisor, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
    • Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as necessary
    • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as assigned
    • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
    • Dispose of trash and recyclables
    • Perform turn down service, as necessary


    • An ability to communicate verbally and in writing with fellow team members.
    • Basic knowledge of sanitation requirements and cleaning techniques
    • Previous experience while not necessary is a plus.
