    The beautiful Hotel Alba is located in the Westshore area, minutes from the Westshore Mall.  

    Our hotel is managed by Chesapeake Hospitality, a growing and award winning hotel and restaurant Management Company.  Chesapeake Hospitality currently manages over 33 hotels and restaurants. 

    Position Summary

    We are seeking part-time and on-call Banquet Servers to serve our guests. The ideal candidate believes in showing up on time for work and following all sanitary and health-related protocols. This individual is required to be detailed oriented and work well in a team environment.  Various shifts are available for this position including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
    • Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments
    • Ensure menu knowledge
    • Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area
    • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
    • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
    • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
    • Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, breaking down trays, etc.

    Qualifications

    Previous Banquet Serving experience working in a hotel enviroment or related field.

     

    Excellent customer service skills

     

    Excellent team player
