This hotel is managed by Chesapeake Hospitality, a growing and award winning hotel and restaurant Management Company. 

    Position Summary

    The Front Office / Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in and checkout and throughout their stay, in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and
    financial profitability.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet, check-in, and checkout guests approaching the Front Desk in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner in accordance with hotel and brand standards.
    • Resolve guest challenges and takes appropriate action to ensure 100 % guest satisfaction.
    • Building rapport with rewards members, distinguished visitors; escort guests to rooms, encourages feedback throughout their stay.
    • Maintain and market guest programs and promotions.
    • Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
    • Review Front Office log daily.
    • Be aware of all rates, packages and being familiar with all in-house groups.
    • Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario.

    Qualifications

    • An ability to attend to guests, associates and management needs in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
    • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to perform duties of the job.
    • Effective listener whom can interpret the information in order to clarify concerns of guests and fellow employees.
    • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
    • Must have ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
    • Flexibility regarding working varying schedules that include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs dictate.
    • Previous experience in hospitality industry is preferred while not necessary
