Located in the Southridge Shopping Center which includes a variety of restaurants and fabulous shops, this Hampton Inn is managed by Chesapeake Hospitality, a growing and award winning hotel & restaurant Management Company.

    Position Summary

    The Breakfast Room Attendant is responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast area in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.


    • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
    • Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials with an ability to make suggestions if asked by the guest.
    • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
    • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
    • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
    • Complete all side work including polishing, rolling silverware, glasses etc.
    • Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations all in a pleasant & professional manner.
    • Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times


    • An ability to attend to guests, associates and management needs in an upbeat attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
    • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to perform duties of the job.
    • Effective listener whom can interpret the information in order to clarify concerns of guests and fellow employees.
    • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
    • Must have ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
    • Flexibility regarding working varying schedules that include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs dictate.
    • Previous experience in hospitality industry is preferred while not necessary.
