    Position Summary

    As a Room Service Attendant, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Come experience what's possible!

    Responsibilities

    • Answer room service calls from guests, take food and beverage orders utilizing up-selling skills.
    • Set up room service trays and tables to prepare for incoming orders
    • Retrieve checks, set tables according to specifications, retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar and deliver food to guest rooms and meeting rooms.
    • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
    • Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
    • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
    • Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
    • Follow proper cashiering functions by completing/closing guest checks and submitting information into POS system.

    • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to attend to guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
    • Must be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and with a team.
    • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, balance, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, smell, taste and perform repetitive motions that require manual dexterity during and throughout their shift.
    • This position requires the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
